I know, I'm as shocked as you are.

To save those of you not all that excited to scroll through masses of knitting pictures....

That maybe I wouldn’t have a billionty things in progress with nothing to really show for it.

Have I learned my lesson? Nope. I almost think I work better this way. Or else that’s just one of the nice things I tell myself.

You’d think spending most my time this week home sick I would have gotten more done. Not so much. Starting to actually feel better today, so maybe next week will be different.

I might hate the US Postal Service, but I LOVE EBAY.

Package of knitting needles from the auction I won arrived today, after spending the past 4 days in a post office not 3 hours from my house. I'm thinking someone might have sat on the box, but I was SOOOOOOOO happy to see this out front when I came home that I almost didn't care :D

The book is Lost in a Good Book (Jasper Fforde), and lucky for me I was reading it on Thursday (haha Thursday Next) Sorry. Moving on... The book underneath it is The Complete Sherlock Holmes, much much heavier.

Dalek O’ Doom is done!!!!

Still doesn’t have a proper name, as most of the things I called him during the making process can’t be said in polite company. Hey, don’t look at me like that! I blame the little yarny bastard for bringing out the more colourful side of my vocab. Soooooo until I come up with a better name, ‘Dalek o’ doom’ he shall be.

Here’s a page I did of my niece-to-be when she was over at our house one day last summer. Not only is this my first try on making a scrapbook page on canvas, this is also the first time I’ve tried to take a picture of a page to post it. Strangely enough I had more trouble with that part than I did taking the pictures to put on the page itself!
