Why oh why did I fight getting a laptop for so long? I am currently on the computer, but outside, enjoying the humidity. When it’s cool and humid I am a happy camper, usually we get impossibly hot and dry days the closer it gets to summer.
Sadie seems confused by the whole ‘hanging around in nature’ thing. Other than walks she doesn’t ‘do’ outside much more than I do. She’s spent the past half hour staring at the shed. I think she’s waiting for the zombies.

Latest yarny project I’ve started is a pair of yoga socks. Yes I know socks without heels and toes sound weird, but I’m thinking they will be awesome for DDR (and yoga of course, which I am serious about starting up again). I haven’t gotten all that far yet…
RLBF has demanded a project for him at some point, I think he’s jealous I won’t make a Dalek for him. Since he knows how long it takes me to finish pretty much anything he’s asked early.
He’s wanting a new winter hat, which normally would fill me with glee. I hate his ugly winter hate. HATE. See the ugly?
The problem? He wants an even uglier hat. Oh yes, that’s possible. He wants some sort of ear flappy hat. To guarentee it will be truly hideous, he wants it in the Kawasaki colours like his Ninja. That would be these:
I haven't found a pattern yet, and I’m honestly not even sure I can come up with something vaguely hat shaped in the right size. Also – do I really want to take responsibility for unleashing what is sure to be a very ugly hat on the world?
Maybe I can convince him to tell people someone else made it….
At least I have MONTHS before the snow comes.
