Dalek O’ Doom is done!!!!
Still doesn’t have a proper name, as most of the things I called him during the making process can’t be said in polite company. Hey, don’t look at me like that! I blame the little yarny bastard for bringing out the more colourful side of my vocab. Soooooo until I come up with a better name, ‘Dalek o’ doom’ he shall be.

Since all I knew before hand was knit and purl, it really was a learning process. I couldn’t tell you all the things I had to teach myself or things I discovered, but here’s the (very) short list:
Most important – I really should have used a smaller needle size, this I found out part way through. Oh well, live and learn. If I ever attempt this again I’ll know better.
Second – I hate bobbles with the fiery passion of a billion volcanos. HATE HATE OMG SO MUCH HATE.
Third – Sometimes 4 year olds give the best knitting advice. I had tried the eye stalk countless times and had it fall apart at the end, Lil told me I should just start at the hard part and go backwards so I didn’t have to much to redo. Sometimes the best ideas are so simple you wonder why they weren’t obvious to you. Had success on the very first go after that.
FOUR – I AM VERY PROUD OF MYSELF FOR ACTUALLY FINISHING (even if he isn’t perfect and I had a few needle throwing tantrums in the creation process)
