Things able to make me smile seem to be in short supply today, but this did it:

Ceiling cat at the store lives! I hadn’t heard noises for a while, so I was wondering about him/her. Not only did I hear it, but ceiling cat even peeked down to see us. Now if only it would let us get it out of the ceiling, we’d all be happier. Lura tried to bribe it with some ham and cheese, but no luck yet.
Keeping myself busy lately. Noticed that I never did post some of the things I planned on.
Was at Sue’s watching her carve a couple awesome SPN pumpkins just over a week ago

You don't get the picture of me, as I hadn't even brushed my hair
BUT
Click here and see the finished pic here at her journal.
Be sure to check it out, she did a great job.
I decided not to touch icky pumpkin guts myself this year, so while she worked on those I finished knitting Charlotte’s sweater.

First night she decided to hide next to RLBF, but she’s gotten much more appreciative since then. That could have more to do with it being COLD than anything else.

This weekend I also finished myself a pair of fingerless gloves

I love them to pieces! Need to make other fingerless gloves now, just need to buy more yarn. Oh darn :)
If I were smart I’d have moved onto any one of the other projects I already have going, instead I decided to start Lura’s Christmas prezzie scarf. When will I ever learn? Moving quickly so far, and I love it enough that I almost don't want to give it away. I think that's a good sign she'll like it.
Oh and RLBF thinks he may have fixed my broken sewing machine woes, new needle and some minor fiddling with things. Soooo now I’ve run out of excuses for making those dining room curtains. I hate sewing though, so I’m still stalling as best I can.
Oh well. At least it’s keeping me occupied and out of trouble, right?
