A chess set- because I knew that Sue, Kitti and JK would be expecting it. NO I didn't buy it, but I did manage not to giggle. A very big improvement over last time. Freaking timers.
A teeny tiny demo stove - I wonder if I could have cooked teeny tiny snacks on it? Like with a tea light inside. Couldn't be that much worse than an EZ-Bake, right?
Raggedy Anne- She freaks me out, in a scared the hell out me sort of way. Here she is stealing a purple necklace. Purple being my fav colour, and the one that Sue declared all Plutonians are allergic to. I think she has plans.
Strange fish figurine- A fish that caught a person. I realize this is not a good picture (very bad lighting), but I trust it still manages to convey both the horror and tackiness of the item. No, just no.
Some really terrible taxidermy- Not really a fan in the first place, and these were quite terrible. I swear they had mange or some shit. So why would I take a picture to save the memory? Because Lil told me to be careful at the flea market. You see, it's in the mountains and there are bears in the mountains. If I saw a bear I was supposed to trip RLBF so he would fall down. That way the bear would eat him and not me since I can't run so fast. She has such a special way of saying she cares, I can't wait to hear the calls her mom gets from preschool in a couple weeks.
(I tried to get rlbf to act like the bear bit him, but he said the seller already looked pissed that I had laughed at his animals and then gotten a camera out)
We bought a few little odds and ends. I got a people cutter (gingerbread man cookie cutter for those who aren't fluent in suespeak) and a tiny pair of folding scissors for my knitting supply bag. RLBF got boring boy things like a tool to break your way out of your car. Then he surprised the hell out of me by getting me the most awesome necklace ever. And while the guy selling made me a special chain he studied that stand like there was going to be a test later. RLBF apparently has a secret steampunk interest, so secret he didn't even realize. This is very exciting to me as he was fiddling around with the things and brainstorming on his own :D DID I MENTION HE BOUGHT ME A PRETTY NECKLACE?!

So there you have my day. Very nice to leave town, but I am TIRED. We really do need to get our act together better next time and reserve a hotel room to avoid the whole 6 hrs in a car thing. 4AM COMES EARLY.
