My god - you have just summed up exactly what my friend and I were thinking about the last two episodes !

Good to know we weren't alone. It was an episode that ended with no hope - so unlike the Torchwood or even scifi in general. I found it depressing viewing. Drama = Fantastic but Drama + heavy moral issues + no resolution = Uncomfortable viewing !
