Now I realize this isn't quite on par with the freaky orange dust storm that Australia had, BUT this is not moving weather. Especially when we only had the pickup to use until RLBF gets to borrow the furniture truck from his work (tomorrow I think).

So consider these pictures my excuse for why we only moved two loads of boxes this weekend:

Not quite as orange glowy, but still!!

Been drinking tea and cocoa. Does that count? *grabs bottle of water* I'm a lip gloss addict, so I think I'm safe on that.

Not everywhere got the orange glow that we did. Sydney was nowhere near as orange for so long. By about midday it was a dirty brown. In the hunter Valley where we are, though, it was orange all day.

Just drink plenty. I didn't drink enough, and regretted it. My lips peeled terribly.

It's mainly a white haze right now, and the wind has started to die down. Hopefully it'll be clear by morning.

Unless it rains, the air will probably be really dry for a while, even after the dust has gone. It was here for a day or two.

It rained yesterday, not sure how soon it will again. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been if the ground hadn't gotten a good soaking last night!
